"The economics of paper shavings are what brought us to Resourceful Paper, however the benefits and quality of service are the driving force behind what keeps us loyal customers.  With an average of 80 stalls to provide bedding for, the high cost and uncertain supply of sawdust pushed us to look for an alternative. We found a winner in the paper shavings produced by Resourceful Paper. Our horses rest well on the comfortable cushion and dry surface provided by their paper shavings and it is virtually dust free.  It is more absorbent and longer lasting than sawdust and we have also noticed a significant reduction in odor since moving to paper.  The packaging has proved a benefit by providing a smaller footprint for storage, less labor intensive to distribute, plus weather proofing.  Resourceful Paper has made believers out of us and we happily sing their praises to everyone that walks through our barn."

"We use paper shavings exclusively at our 45 stall breeding and training facility where the stalls are cleaned/stripped at least once a week.  We have found that, while the paper shavings may be slightly higher in cost initially, they more than make up for it with their extra absorbency, quick composting and ease of handling.  These 'shavings' work especially well in foaling stalls and for horses with allergies/breathing problems because they are dust free.  I highly recommend them for any horse facility, big or small."

"We have used the paper shavings for our baby pigs, show pigs and our sows for almost 8 years now.  We would not even think of using any other bedding.  The benefits of using the paper shavings are its absorption ability, absorbs the ammonia smell you can get in barns from the urine, ease of cleaning the pens, warmth in the winter and cushion it provides.  Our show pigs do very well on this bedding; we have never had a problem with any allergic reactions or skin problems as you sometimes get with wood shavings.  Great product and great people that run the business."

"We are in love with your product.  Besides all the obvious benefits of the paper shavings, we found that if you spread the refuse on the fields over the wintertime that it kills the weed growth in the spring and the grass that comes up through them looks to have been fertilized with nitrogen.  This is amazing for us down here as we have 15,000 types of weeds that come up and choke out the grass.  We are definite fans."

Paper shavings - the most perfect bedding I have ever used! No dust or ammonia smell, easy cleaning, and composts quicker than wood shavings or corn cobs! I have all my animals bedded with paper shavings - horses, sheep and chickens.

This spring I tried a bag of paper shavings in my stallion's stall and loved how fluffy the bed was, the ease of cleaning and reduction in dust.

I got through 1/2 of the  bag - that 1/2 did the same amount as a whole bag of wood shavings!  I love how soft the paper is and the chinchillas seem to love it too.

The paper bedding is ideal for our use. It doesn't get imbedded in the alpaca's fiber and is very absorbent. It also breaks down nicely in the soil as compost.
